Margaret Peña serves as the Director of Quality & Regulatory Affairs at Alpha Softgels, a contract manufacturer dedicated to producing premium nutraceutical softgels and providing turnkey private-label solutions. Since joining the company in 2025 during its early development phase, Margaret has been a driving force in establishing Alpha Softgels’ Quality Management System and advancing its compliance framework. Under her leadership, the facility successfully completed its first NSF/ANSI 455-2 recertification audit with an “A” grade, demonstrating the company’s commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.

With more than twelve years of experience in co-manufacturing, quality assurance, and regulatory compliance across the food and nutraceutical industries, Margaret brings a balanced perspective that blends technical rigor with operational practicality. Her expertise extends to organic certification programs, cGMP implementation, supplier qualification, raw-material testing, documentation systems, and regulatory compliance.

Margaret is known for her hands-on approach and her ability to build structured, compliant systems that support long-term operational success. She is certified under 21 CFR 111 by NSF and leads Alpha Softgels’ quality and compliance functions with the belief that “quality starts with discipline” and “documentation is the backbone of compliance.”
