Chapter one
Great companies begin with great people. Before Alpha Softgels existed, our team spent decades learning the science, craft, and precision behind world-class softgel manufacturing. Scientists, technicians, operators, formulators, and industry professionals worked side by side—solving difficult formulation challenges, improving manufacturing processes. Along the way, we learned something important: The best manufacturing isn't just about equipment. It's about people. It's the technician who understands how a formulation behaves before the first production run. It's the operator who knows when a process needs adjustment because they've seen it hundreds of times before. It's the team that treats a customer's first 50,000 capsules with the same care as an order for 5 million. As the supplement manufacturing industry evolved, consolidation became increasingly common. Manufacturers grew larger, production volumes increased, and minimum order quantities followed. That created an opportunity. Emerging brands still needed experienced manufacturing partners. Growing companies still needed flexibility. Entrepreneurs with promising products still deserved access to the same level of expertise available to established national brands. We believed there was room for a different kind of softgel manufacturer. One that combined decades of industry experience with the flexibility, responsiveness, and personal attention of an independent company. That belief became the foundation for what came next. We may be a young company, but our roots in this industry run deep. After years of watching it shift toward mass production and distant corporate ownership, we wanted to build something different. Something personal.
